Website Terms and Conditions
By using foxadventure.is, you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions, which shall take effect immediately.
Fox Adventure may change these Terms & Conditions at any time by posting changes online. Please review these Terms & Conditions regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by Fox Adventure. Your continued use of foxadventure.is after changes are posted, means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended.
We grant you permission to use the site subject to the restrictions in these Terms & Conditions. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public or otherwise use content owned by Fox Adventure (inclusive of text, images, URLs, pricing information, etc.) in any way except for your own personal use. Any commercial use of Fox Adventure content requires the prior written permission of Fox Adventure.

Payment Policy
All prices are in Icelandic Krona. Products are guaranteed after full payment has been made. All refunds are made in Icelandic Krona. If the exchange rate has fluctuated between the time of purchase and when the refund is issued this might result in either an increase or decrease in the total amount refunded in your local currency.
Fox Adventure confirms a booking from foxadventure.is when a booking has been made by a client. Once Fox Travel has accepted a booking, the contract between Fox Adventure and client will become binding. The client is bound to show up at the departure point at published time and pay the rest of the tour fee, and Fox Adventure is bound to deliver the tour. Conditions on canceling can be found below.

Client Responsibility
Upon booking you confirm that you have studied and familiarized yourself with the terms and conditions of Fox Adventure and fully agree to all terms and conditions. You also confirm that you fulfill all conditions set by Fox Adventure and are physically able to follow our instructions and partake in all activities planned for you and operated by us. If unsure please contact our office.
Parents and/or legal guardians take full responsibility for damages caused by passengers they are responsible for. Children (under 18 years in accordance of Icelandic law) cannot use the services of Fox Adventure without accompanying parent or legal guardian.

Our Liability & Compensation
Fox Adventure will accept liability for the negligence of its employees causing direct physical injury to passengers only to the extent that it is obliged under Icelandic law. Fox Adventure cannot be held responsible for any mishap to yourself or your property, and in particular for the consequences of flight cancellations, vehicle accidents, strikes, sickness, Government, customs or police intervention or other such happenings amounting to force majeure.
By confirming your booking with Fox Adventure you acknowledge that we have taken all reasonable steps to safeguard our liability in this respect. Fox Adventure reserves the right to suspend passengers from the tours if the passengers are inebriated or show unacceptable or improper behavior.

Cancellation Policies

Day Tour and Private Tour cancellation policies
- Fox Adventure reserves the right to always keep a 10% payment fee to cover costs for the booking & rescheduling.
- If you must reschedule or cancel the booking, please provide Fox Adventure with 48-hour notice. This way Fox Adventure might be able to resell the seats.
- Cancellations received less than 48 hours before tour departure, will not be refunded. This includes bookings made within 48 hours before departure.
- If clients cancel their tour more than 48 hours before departure, a 90% refund will be given.
- “No Shows” will not be refunded or rebooked.
- Fox Adventure reserves the right to cancel your trip with your safety in mind. The tours can be canceled due to safety reasons or other natural conditions, on short notice. In such cases, a 100% refund is provided.
- If you arrive later than 10 minutes after your tour start time you will be considered a “No Show” and will not be refunded or rebooked.

Tailor made services cancellation policy
Tailor made services carry 20% cancellation fee from confirmation of the service in question. 100% cancellation fee is required from 7 days prior to departure of services.

Shore Excursions Cancellation fee
For the cruise ships, the cancellation policy does not apply if the ship does not make it to the harbor. In case of the ship not reaching the pier, you will receive a full refund without cancellation fee. Otherwise normal cancellation fee for day tours applies.

Changes and Cancellations by Fox Adventure
Before you enter into a contract with us, we reserve the right to change any of the facilities or services described in Fox Adventure’s brochure or website. Fox Adventure also reserves the right to cancel the booking due to weather or if the minimum number of passengers of a departure is not met. Any changes are usually very minor and we will advise you at the earliest possible date.
If a major change, such as change in departure time, becomes necessary, Fox Adventure will inform you as soon as reasonably possible your tours begins. When a major change or cancellation occurs you will have the choice of accepting the change of arrangements, purchasing another available tour from Fox Adventure, or canceling your tour. If booking is canceled Fox Adventure will refund all payments made directly to us in respect of the tour price. Fox Adventure will not refund any personal expenses you may have incurred as a result of your booking such as flight payments for land-only tours, travel insurance, equipment purchases, visas, vaccinations etc.

Change Fees
If a client requests a change of itinerary for a confirmed booking, Fox Adventure will not charge a fee, other than the price difference of services provided. If the fee is less, Fox Adventure will refund the difference, excluding the deposit fee.

Participation
If at any point during your scheduled tour (any we offer) you choose to not participate in the activity, Fox Adventure cannot and will not be held responsible for providing a full or partial refund. Please also be aware, if you have booked an open / public tour and have decided at any point that you no longer want to participate, you will be asked to wait at a designated point to wait for the rest of the group to complete the activity. In booking the tour, it is assumed that you and all parties involved have read and understand the tour description and expectations.

Travel Insurance
Fox Adventure recommends all our guests to have insurance. Each guest should buy trip or holiday cancellation insurance in addition to medical, personal and travel insurance.
